Please join Lockton for our Insurance & Risk Management Seminar. Take a deep dive with industry experts on topics such as AI, the DarkWeb, DarkWeb IQ, and property and casualty state of the market updates. The seminar begins with lunch and ends with a happy hour and networking event when the presentations conclude.
An engaging discussion on the "buzziest" subject of 2024: artificial intelligence! In this session we will review where things stand halfway through 2024 including the latest around company use of AI, evolving litigation and claims around AI, risks from usage (including discrimination, bias, hallucinations and regulatory risks), insurance market response to AI, and practical recommendations on mitigating risk within your organization.
Bill Hardin will take us on a tour of the DarkWeb to see how crime syndicates operate. With thousands of ransomware cases under his belt, he will explain crime economics, current crime groups and techniques they are using to infiltrate organizations, show us live negotiations going on with threat actors, dark markets where data is for sale along with demonstrating how crime syndicates recruit and train people on the dark web.
Cybercriminals leverage the anonymity of the DarkWeb and cryptocurrency to conduct their crimes, but the good guys are catching up to them. In this talk we will learn how criminals in the ransomware ecosystem collaborate with each other to find victims and launch successful attacks. We will also learn how DarkWeb IQ and law enforcement can monitor the dark web for your data and remove it before criminals acquire it and use it to extort ransom payments.
Closing out the seminar will be an engaging panel discussion overviewing cyber crime and the life cycle and impacts of an insurance claim. We will hear unique perspectives from an insurance carrier and a member of our Lockton Claims Counsel. We will be opening up the panel for questions from the audience.
